Summer Days Week 6: New faces enjoy their first taste of Lacrosse
It was great to see new faces on the Lacrosse field at Week 6's bring a friend event.
With only one more week of Summer Days to go, it was great to see our kids doing so well in the field as this week's photos show. It was great to see many of the older kids staying back to train with the U/15 girls and boys sides.
Register now for Season 2014
Surrey Park will be fielding junior team(s) in U/11 mixed, U/13 boys/mixed, U/15 boys and U/15 girls.
Based on the success of Summer Days and building on the base of last year's players, the teams we will be fielding in Lacrosse Victoria's Junior Competition should be very competitive competitive.
LV's Junior Season proper starts on Saturday May 3rd 2014. First training will most likely be the Thursday before (1st May 2014) at Mont Albert Reserve.
For those who just wish to play iPlay, which is a winter version of Summer Days, and this will start on Friday 2nd May 2014, at Mont Albert Reserve.
Players registered to play in LV's Junior competition are welcome to play iPlay at no additional cost.
Registration forms, and electronic payment details are found on the Surrey Park website.
Registration BBQ / End of Summer Days BBQ
A BBQ will be held at the end of next week's final Summer Days session (Monday 31st May 2014) as a registration event and to celebrate a wonderful Summer Days series. Forms and means of payment will be at the BBQ.
Formal Group Photo
We'll take a formal photo of the girls and boys for the archive and to use for promotion of next year's series, so please make sure your children wear their blue Summer Days t-shirt, so the photo looks fantastic.
Some Reminders:
- Be quick to secure your protective gear (U/13 and U/15 boys) with our great offer.
- Lacrosse Victoria has released rules for the coming season
