New Clubrooms!
If you haven’t been down to the ground since last season then you will be in for a very pleasant surprise. The old building was demolished prior to Christmas and the slab for the new building was poured in January. Since then the frame, roof and most of the brickwork has been completed.
With the current progress ahead of schedule, your committee is confident that we may be able to tenant the new building towards the end of our 2014 season.
The new “’Taj Mahal” is looking simply magnificent. Our thanks must go to the staff of the Whitehorse City Council who have been extraordinarily helpful in enabling us to specify the needs of the resident lacrosse and cricket clubs. We are all very fortunate to be part of the best lacrosse facilities in Victoria, and possibly Australia.
There will be many more updates on our new facilities as they approach completion as we intend to hold a very large opening ceremony and want everyone who has ever been connected to the club to join us in these momentous celebrations
These are exciting times for the club, and when combined with the very positive recruiting program over the last few years, there will be many very good years ahead for players and members alike.
