Primary School Visits

Introducing Lacrosse into local Primary Schools

Following the success of previous programs, Surrey Park Lacrosse Club will once again bring the great game of Lacrosse to the primary schools in the local area.

Established in 1948, Surrey Park Lacrosse Club has a progressive yet nurturing junior program which has produced State League Champions and International Representatives across the years. Our focus is to ensure kids of all abilities love to play lacrosse and parents love their kids playing Lacrosse at Surrey Park.

Senior Officials and State League and International Players will present Lacrosse to primary school students in Surrey Park's catchment and run clinics for students to expose them to the great sport of Lacrosse.

Visits are planned for these schools prior to the start of the season:

  • Mont Albert Primary School
  • Laburnum Primary School
  • Wattle Park Primary School
  • Roberts McCubbin Primary School
  • Chatham Primary School
  • Blackburn Primary School and
  • Surrey Hills Primary School

These school visits are a great way to get introduced into Lacrosse and feed into Surrey Park's successful iPlay Lacrosse program and the junior inter-club competition.

Parents and Children at other primary schools are welcome to contact our Junior Co-ordinator, Nick Farley, on juniors@surreyparklacrosse.org.au, or 0411 049 588 for information about how to try lacrosse.
